Accessibility

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management wants everyone, without or with a permanent or temporary disability, to be able to easily use its online services. Therefore, we are continuously working to improve digital accessibility on this website.

The Digital Government Act (Wdo) states that government websites must comply with accessibility requirements EN 301 549/WCAG 2.1. Governments must account for this in a published accessibility statement.

This statement applies to DMI Ecosystem and was last modified on 05-02-2024.

How we improve the accessibility of this website

From the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, we are improving digital accessibility by:

  • Accessibility from the start. With new websites, we pay attention to accessibility at every step from the start. Think design, build and content.
  • Accessibility status surveys. Experts examine (parts of) the website for accessibility. Found bottlenecks we solve permanently where possible.
  • Employee Knowledge. With a campaign for our employees, we raise awareness about the importance of digital accessibility and what is involved. For various employees we make training and e-learning available.
