ABOUT US

At DMI, we believe that solutions are not developed in isolation. Collaboration and cohesion form the foundation of our ecosystem for good reason. Many organizations operate at the intersection of the physical environment and digitalization: we know one another and collaborate wherever possible.

COLLABORATION IN
NETWORKS: CONNECT,
ACCELERATE, STRENGTHEN

At DMI, we believe that solutions are not developed in isolation. Collaboration and cohesion form the foundation of our ecosystem for good reason. Many organizations operate at the intersection of the physical environment and digitalization: we know one another and collaborate wherever possible.

CONNECTING LOCAL, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL PARTNERS

Within the DMI ecosystem, we gather knowledge to share through our communities. We drive progress by promoting best practices and facilitating the discovery and (re)use of data. Together with the right partners, we help scale up practical applications both nationally and internationally.

DATA SYSTEMS & BASIC REGISTRATIONS

Collaborating with data systems and basic registries

Below is an overview of the data systems and registries used by DMI. A data system consists of a set of agreements — for example, which types of data should be available and for what purposes.

It is also important to consider where the data can be found and whether it is based on any laws or regulations. A base registration refers to the collection of factual data and is typically part of a broader data system.

A general agreement for data sharing within the logistics sector.

A general agreement for secure and reliable data sharing within the construction chain. DigiGO serves as the implementing platform for the DSGO (Digital System for the Built Environment) and focuses on promoting digital collaboration across the built environment.

A central digital portal for permits and regulations under the Environment and Planning Act.

General Agreement for sharing mobility data between public and private parties.

This infrastructure is focused on developing and implementing a General Agreement for controlled digital business among parties within the logistics chain.

The NTM serves as the platform where governments and market parties can publish, access, and utilize mobility data. This data is stored in the Mobility Data Register.

Policy Networks

Policy Networks

DMI collaborates closely with several central government policy programs to mutually strengthen efforts, exchange knowledge, and support each other’s objectives. This collaboration aims to accelerate implementation and facilitate scaling up.

A national program aimed at accelerating housing construction by emphasizing digitization and industrialized building methods.

Collaborating on the development and application of digital twins in urban and regional development.

Vision for the future-proof use of geo-information for societal tasks.

National program to accelerate and embed shared mobility.

Department of Infrastructure and Water Management

This program focuses on national preconditions for greater local control over the subsurface.

knowledge networks

Knowledge Networks

We also collaborate with various knowledge networks.

Partnership of medium-sized cities around urban issues.

Collaboration between government, municipalities and market players to explore the potential of AI for the city.

Independent knowledge platform for infrastructure, mobility and public space.

Organization dedicated to improving accessibility and exchange of geo-information through standards.

Collaboration between state, municipalities, and market participants to build sustainably, affordably, and at an accelerated pace.

Platform for integral collaboration in public space, above and below ground.

Catalyst for scalable innovations in the design, construction, and engineering sectors. TKI stands for Top Consortium for Knowledge and Innovation. TKI construction and engineering is one of the top consortia for knowledge and innovation within the Dutch top sector policy. It is part of the top sector energy and focuses on innovation in the construction and engineering sector, particularly with regard to sustainability, the energy transition, and circular construction.
